Nelson Lakes National Park, 14.12. – 16.12.<\/p>\n
Kurz gesagt: 2,5h Stunden Fahrt von Nelson – 2x \u00fcbernachten im Campground Camp Kerr Bay, dazwischen in der Angelus Hut am Lake Angelus.
\nEtwas l\u00e4nger: Der Nelson Lakes National Park beheimatet so in etwa die n\u00f6rdlichsten Berge der „Southern Alps“. Das ist also schon zum Teil Alpines Terrain. Ich hatte mich f\u00fcr eine 2-Tages-Tour entschieden mit einer \u00dcbernachtung in einer H\u00fctte. Es ging als erstes vom wundersch\u00f6nen See steil nach oben bis auf den Mount Robert (1421m). Danach die Robert Ridge entlang (also genau auf dem Bergkamm f\u00fcr ca. 4h, mit ziemlichen Windboen – allerdings den ganzen Tag w\u00e4rmende Sonne). Die Namen fand ich nat\u00fcrlich toll und das kann man ja auch auf dem Foto sehen… H\u00f6chster Punkt: Julius Summit auf knapp 1800 Metern. Dann war endlich die Angelus Hut erreicht, die an einem wundersch\u00f6nen See liegt. \u00dcberhaupt die Aussicht fantastisch auf dem gesamten Weg. Ich war schon ein bisschen kaputt – Bergab \u00fcber gro\u00dfe Felsen mit dem Backpack auf dem R\u00fccken… Puh.
\nAm n\u00e4chsten Tag bin ich eine andere Route (Speargrass Route) zum Parkplatz zur\u00fcck. Das ging am Anfang schnell runter, dabei mehrmals \u00fcber und durch kleine Bachl\u00e4ufe und dann zog es sich doch sehr lange durch, zugegebenerma\u00dfen sch\u00f6nen Beech-Forest. Aber ich doch sehr groggy am Ende und hab mir den Parkplatz und das Auto herbei gesehnt.
\nNach der Dusche gab es Burger und Bier zur Belohnung in der „Alpine Lodge“. Einige Interessante Leute kennengelernt (diesmal auch viele Kiwis) und es waren zwar viele Sandflies (Es ist doch alles wahr was erz\u00e4hlt wird! Nach dem Wei\u00dfen Hai kommt gleich die Sandfly… ;-\/ ) unterwegs, aber ich wei\u00df so langsam, wie und wann man sich eincremen muss \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n\n
